1st International Contest of Literary Basis for Screen WorkWithin the framework of the project «In My Homeland” Green Cross Belarus ANNOUNCE 1st INTERNATIONAL CONTEST OF LITERARY BASIS FOR SCREEN WORK A literary work is at the heart of any screen work that is transformed into a script. However, a literary basis is not always so simple and “graphic” that it can be visualized. The task of the contest is to collect a base of good literary works that can become a basis for screen versions in future. TOPICS: “In My Homeland” is a free topic of the Contest. The most interesting works are usually based on personal impressions, experiences and events. Take a closer look at the world around you and try to write about what won’t allow you and your acquaintances staying indifferent. It can be a real thing or a fantasy, as a writer's task is to “draw” a piece of life using words. “A Journey on the Outskirts” In our intense time, it seems that the most interesting and noteworthy things happen far away from here. In fact, taking a walk on the outskirts attentively watching the life is enough for to find a plot. Each topic is a separate category. The jury will estimate the work separately for each of them. The topic of a work submitted to the Contest must be indicated when filling in the registration form. AGE GROUPS OF PARTICIPANTS:

Works are submitted in PDF format. The name of the file has to include name, patronymic, surname of the author and the work’s name. A work is submitted to the Contest by e-mail. A title of the letter indicates a short title of the Contest, the author's name, patronymic and surname and the work’s name. A participant has to fill in electronic registration form to participate in the Contest. DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING THE WORKS – NOVEMBER 30, 2017 RESULTS OF THE CONTEST: The jury board will include writers, script writers, directors- animation artists and other specialists. The Organizers retain the right to reproduce the submitted works in order to promote and develop the Contest and to use in methodical activities without the author's consent.
