International Conference of Artists-Teachers "Contemporary art education for children and youth"

We invite artists-teachers, art historians, organisers of children's and youth competitions, exhibitions, and art projects to participate in the International Conference of Artists-Teachers "Modern Art Education for Children and Youth".

Dates: February 5-7, 2026

The venue: Minsk State Art College named after A. Glebov (Minsk, ul. Khmelnitskogo, 5).

Organisers: Green Cross Belarus NGO in partnership with International Union of Artists-Teachers with support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

Issues for discussion:

• art history teaching practices;
• approaches to evaluating children's creative work;
• the specifics of online exhibitions of art works (format and form; transfer of color and tone; texture; watercolor and pencil drawing);
• modern features of photography teaching.

Within the conference, it is planned to hold an open viewing of the exhibition works in 2026 (the jury and the supervisory board choices) with comments and discussion, visit the Minsk State Art College named after A. K. Glebov, and organise thematic exhibitions.
